Takeo Shinnō (剛雄親王)

Prince Andrew is the son of Princess Mary and Prince Hideo. He is also the cousin of King IX and Princess Katherine of Wales. Growing up, Andrew felt overshadowed by his other cousins. He was never one to greet someone warmly and he never liked to play with his cousins like his siblings did. Andrew grew to realise that it was because his heart always started racing whenever he was by Henry’s side, making him feel uncomfortable and overall frustrated. Henry was the boy everyone wanted to hate but couldn’t. It would be fruitless, anyway. Andrew could never hate his cousins and neither can he stop the beat of his heart whenever Henry smiles beside him. Whenever they were in class together for Latin, Andrew would read the sneaky letters Henry would pass to him, ultimately making him smile and evidently hating himself afterward for doing so. 

 

As much as he wanted Henry to smile at him forever, Andrew knew who those smiles truly belong to and it wasn’t for him. That broke his heart, but he decided that it’s for the best. “One sin is enough, another is just excessive.”

 

After throwing himself into his studies and later to serve in the Royal Air Force, Andrew grew to have an obsession with needing to be in heart-racing events every waking moment of his life. He’s not content sitting down in one corner doing nothing productive, Andrew strived to be active, it keeps his thoughts away and keeps him distracted. His personality is unpredictable, one minute he could be laughing at your jokes, but the next he could punch you straight in the face for saying something that didn’t sit well with him. As a Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force, Andrew works alongside a large crew of dedicated young individuals. To him, this is what he should be doing forever. If his mind is someplace else, it can’t be committing a sin. It’s what he likes, or so he would tell himself.
