About INVICTUS.

THE PRINCESS AND THE PRINCE

She was the pride of her dearly beloved father, adored by her grandmother and worshipped by the public. In many people’s eyes, Princess Katherine could do no wrong and any man would kneel before her, hoping the Princess would take notice. Her beauty and intelligence are celebrated by all, everyone knew she would make the country even better when the time came for her to take the throne. She had everything she could possibly wish for and demand, living the life that any person would wish to have. Princess Katherine could do and have almost anything in the world, but not the chance of love.

My sweetling, Henry is your brother and he will always be your brother, but nothing more than that.

The first one to notice was the King’s mother, the former Queen of England and grandmother to both Katherine and Henry. Queen Mary knew the feelings Katherine bore for her half-brother and she also knew that Henry returned the love and affection his sister had for him. As they grew older, so did the bond between them grew stronger. In time the King noticed the undeniable closeness between siblings and so did the public. King George was informed by his mother about the delicate matter in question, which forced the King to separate the two in order to dispel any rumours that might tarnish the name of his House and his children.

Princess Katherine was sent to France to begin her tour and various humanitarian duty, while the King ordered for Prince Henry to stay in England. It was the last time they ever saw each other again.

AND DEATH COMES WITH CHAOS

It was an unexpected turn of events when King George VIII was found unresponsive by one of the serving men at the early morning of spring, as it was the King’s custom to take his cup of tea. The servant was struck with panic but was quick to inform the service staff of the household and the Royal Family.

The family present was the King’s mother, his wife Queen Meira and his son, Prince Henry. Everyone was in a state of collapse, King George was young and healthy and not one member of the family expected him to be gone so soon. His death was announced in the late afternoon by Prime Minister Charles Thatcher and later covered by official news outlet all over the world.

Princess Katherine was deep in her European tour in Paris and could not immediately return back to England. However, there were already many articles written about Princess Katherine’s ascension to the British throne, which fell quickly after her sudden fatal accident in Paris.

I have some very sad news to bring you. Her Royal Highness Princess Katherine of Wales has died after a car crash in Paris.

The entirety of England stood still in utter shock and grief. Two of the most beloved monarchs were dead and the Crown has landed on Prince Henry’s head.

WHO KILLED THE QUEEN?

“THE ROYAL FAMILY: MURDERERS.” Everyone in the family was horrified when news came out depicting the deaths of the late King George and Princess Katherine as murders. The news site who call themselves Daily Coronatus became an overnight subject of England’s filthy little secrets. The Queen Mother was more than furious and as regent, she tasked the agents to ‘handle’ the situation with blood if they had to. But, despite Queen Meira’s antics, Prince Richard approached the issue with a sound mind, suggesting that they stay silent and let the counterpart terminate the news at hand.

The Independent are what people listen to, let’s pay them and get this over with. This is utter nonsense and no right human would think we murdered my own brother and niece!

Whilst the Daily Coronatus dug up as much information as they could for the deaths of King George and Princess Katherine, The Independent began discrediting their efforts and hours of research by appealing to the public about the loss the Royal Family are feeling. Just as expected, it worked. Everyone sympathised with the Royal Family, as they too, felt the pain of losing the late King and the would be Queen. The nation watched Princess Katherine grew up and there’s nothing more devastating than losing a child you’ve seen turn into a promising adult.

However, controversies clung onto the Royal Family like the gold attached to their name, this time involving the Americans. “ELECTION RIGGED BY BRITISH TO SECURE A DEMOCRAT WIN.” By the time Daily Coronatus moved on from the Royals to the Americans, Prince Henry of Cornwall was crowned King of England, his vows, and oaths filled with malice and vengeance.

Give me all the names of those who sought out Katherine in France. Every. Single. One.

In time, every single one of the names given to the King fell in horrible deaths and all of which were covered by Daily Coronatus, yet not a single link tracing back to King Henry. Sparking another controversy would not help their declining reputation, but Olivia Pope knew all too well that the King was behind all those deaths and so did Princess Katherine.
